Hello, Bin Weevils. It's Beano150 here with another Real World News post. Expect many more to come here on Bin Weevils Cheat Site!
Why characters leave your favourite TV showsFor many of us, we enjoy a good TV show. My particular favourite channel is CBBC, and I enjoy the comedy series's.
After a while, or even after one series perhaps, you might discover your favourite character(s) have left. Why? There's several reasons, so I'll go through a few below. Education - Some actors are actually kids or teenagers! One example of a show that has children actors is the 4 O'Clock Club (CBBC). This is one of my favourite shows, and many of the great actors have left. Josh, Nathan, etc. Some actors may leave because of education, once they hit a particular age they decide it's the right time to stop and focus on education more. Too old - An actor that is a child or teenager may not be able to hold that particular role when they hit a particular age so are forced to give up, or act as a different actor. Sacked - It is possible some actors get fired, as with any job. Are there any other reasons you can think of? Leave a comment to let me know! Hello, Bin Weevils. It is Beano150 here with yet another post on Bin Weevils Cheat Site. I have decided to produce a blog post with my ideas to make the Binscape an even more fun place to hang out in! Please do note that, some of the ideas have been discussed by other community members before, not just myself. 1 - Harvest all button: A harvest all button would make gardening easier for players. Some Weevils have loads of plants in their gardens, so the ability to click one button that says "Harvest all" would reduce the time it takes for such people to harvest their gardens, whilst giving them more time to play the game if they have a limit, such as 1 hour or 30 minutes on the computer. 2 - Improved Ignore list: Whenever you add a player to your ignore list, those players are still able to send you buddy requests. I know this because, even with the new buddy messenger, someone on my ignore list sent me buddy requests which just annoyed me. I would like it if you added a player to your ignore list they are blocked from sending you buddy requests. It would be ideal if you could block someone from viewing your chat, too, because at the moment if you ignore list someone they can still see what you say, it's just you (who has ignore listed them) who cannot see what they say. 3 - Plazas: For the plazas, I think we should have more rooms available. In our Nests at the moment we can have 8 rooms as a Bin Tycoon member, so why shouldn't we have this many rooms in our Plazas? There could be more Plaza items, too. Having food to purchase (cafes, restaurants) would be an ideal plaza feature, also having games we can buy and include, like Konnect Mulch, Squares and Pool. Additionally, the photo studio feature could return in a different way than how it was when it got discontinued. The LEGO Friends promotion a few months ago (June) had a photo studio that worked differently. If Bin Weevils could just make that again but Bin Weevils branded and put it in the Photo Studio, I'm sure we would be happy to see it return. Plaza Kicks: I think 'kicks' would be ideal for plazas so you don't have to invite everyone apart from who has come to annoy. You could simply click 'kick' on their profile and they get sent back to their Nest, then unable to return to your Plaza until your next login. I really hope this is a feature because there are some people who come to annoy sometimes, mentioning no names. 4 - More Nest Rooms: Having more Nest Rooms would be a nice update, perhaps we could have an upstairs to introduce this? Maybe add another 8 or 10 rooms. Something I think would be cool is having additional 'set rooms' - like a bathroom and kitchen that you can only put kitchen and bathroom items in. These would be additional rooms and wouldn't take up any extra space for rooms you already have to include any items of your choice. 5 - Board games: I think it would be really cool if Bin Weevils produced board games to print out and play on Weevil News. Not everyone has a printer, but for those who do it would be a good feature. The board games could be available in-game too, so you can play them with literally any Bin Weevil. (You can download Bin Weevils Cheat Site board games here!) 6 - More videos: Technically, this is already a feature because Bin Weevils has a YouTube channel with videos, but I think they should upload more often on it. Everyone generally likes frequent uploads, they could produce more Bin Banter and Q&A videos. 7 - Real events: Okay, this is probably unlikely and not going to happen but... Bin Weevils could consider organising events in the real world for kids. I don't mean simple Tink and Clott meet ups, but maybe events with what Bin Weevils has... in real life! The garden activity could be inflatable garden balloons for kids, the Weevil Changer could be face painting as your favourite Weevil, the SWS vs WEB could be a screen activity to help save the Bin, I could go on all day, but I won't. Real events could help get Bin Weevils more players too, for people passing by in the street and choosing to take part in the event even if they have never heard of Bin Weevils. Yes, I know events like this can be costly, but it's just something to consider. One more thing, if you do get these events happening, Bin Weevils, get them in more areas than just London please. 8 - Movies & games: Again, this sort of production is costly and probably not going to happen anytime soon, but a movie could be good. Even if it wasn't aired in the cinema - maybe a short 45 minute movie for their YouTube? It would have to be animated like the adverts of course, not something like Bin Banter. Games for Wii U, 3DS etc would be cool but I don't see it happening because of how costly and unlikely it is. Just an idea, that's all. And that's it. Thank you for reading my post with my ideas for the Binscape, feel free to comment below what you think of my ideas, whether you agree with them, and any ideas you have yourself. If you are reading this, Bin Weevils, thank you, please consider the ideas. -beano150 Post by: Beano150
Hello, Bin Weevils. It's Beano150 here with a Real World News post. Expect many more to come here on Bin Weevils Cheat Site!
Brief History & CommunicationYears ago, we didn't have the internet. Did you know the first web page went live on August 6, 1991 (Bonus fun fact! That's the day after my Birthday)? It was made by Tim Berners-Lee. It ran on a NeXT computer at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, CERN.
Internet relay chats (IRCs for short) were first used in 1988. They continued to be popular well into the 1990's. The first recognizable social media site, Six Degrees, was created in 1997. It enabled users to upload a profile and make friends with other users. Way back, ages ago, people didn't have the internet. Maybe they lived in a time when the internet was yet to be invented, or just simply couldn't afford a computer. How would people communicate? Well, for those who didn't even have a smartphone (for the same reasons, not being able to afford it or they had yet to be invented) people communicated by talking. They also had that good old fashioned telephone that you had to dial... literally. Of course, as payphones (or, the proper term, "postpay" machine) were invented in 1889 and by 1902 there were over 81,000 pay telephones in the Unit States, people could use the postpay phone. That red telephone box designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott (1880-1960) was another option. "How did people cope? No internet, no smartphones, say whaaat?!" - You wouldn't know any different. Since those inventions hadn't even been brought to life yet, how would you miss it? You probably wouldn't have heard it. Yes, I didn't live in those times so I'm only backing up this post with my research from the internet (so don't judge me!). How this is changing our livesMany things we do these days are what we take for granted. Yes, some services we use have been available for a long while (even in the old days), but how we use them is the thing that has changed.
For example, we can now use post office services on that thing we call the internet. Ages ago (and I mean, like, years, several years) we used to have to go to the post office to use a post office service. Online banking was first introduced in the early 1980s in New York, Unit States. Four major banks - Citibank, Chase Manhattan, Chemical bank and Manufacturers Hanover - offered home banking service. Years ago we would have to go to a physical bank to do any banking task. Obviously, not just postal and banking services have changed to introduce online options. It makes me wonder, if, in future, there won't be physical buildings for some establishments. Since technically everything is moving online, people are at risk of losing jobs from lack of customers in the physical building. Talking online - how is this different to just talking? So, social media allows us to talk to our friends from literally anywhere. You're at home but your friend is on a trip out? Social media to the rescue if you want to have a conversation! When you're talking on the internet or via apps using social media, you might want to know if your account isn't set on private, on most social media websites, anyone can see what you're saying. Whereas, if you're at home with your friend just talking, no one knows what you're saying, apart from the people in the conversation and anyone else in the house that are nearby, therefore able to hear you. Unlike the real world, you can use the 'Block' or 'Ignore' buttons to block people out of your everyday life. In the real world you can ignore, yes, but that would genuinely make you look quite rude and ignorant. On these social media apps (take Twitter for this example) you can Block someone so they can't see what you're saying. Even though you do this, unless your account is private, they can still log out or use another account to see what you're saying! If the person that has Blocked you finds out, you may then become enemies (or bigger enemies... since who you Block is likely an enemy) Talking online can have downsides. There's rules, and they're in place for a reason. Certain websites strictly disallow rude terms and bad language, and if you try using them, you can be banned. Use this language in real life? Whoever you're saying these terms to may get frustrated but, they can't ban you from talking. Online communication, I would say, has more advantages in the methods of talking to people than actual talking. Talking is free but so is social media. Calling someone isn't free, unless you've got unlimited minutes. Then there's Skype or WhatsApp, and other such apps to the rescue. You just need an internet connection, someone (or some people) to talk to, and the relevant social media app/s of your choice. But there's downsides: Unlike real life, you can never be sure who you are talking to online. People can impersonate, people can claim they are a 15 year old teenager when in fact they're a 50 year old adult, but you arrange to meet up and it's game over. "What about video calling, like Skype so I can see who I'm talking to?" - true, except, you may end up talking to someone that has been told by an adult to talk for them. Or you might decide not to do video call but voice chat instead, so whoever you're calling isn't really who you think it is and they change the tone of their voice. Be aware of the dangers! Loads of things are happening with the internet and ICT. Who knows what inventions we'll have in 10 years time from now? Be sure to drop a comment below with your thoughts, thank you for reading this post. -beano150 |
